Questions

How hard is the week?

The hardest day is Loma de las Pizarras: about 22 km and nearly 1,400 metres of climbing. The rest run from 3 to 20 km. You need to be fit.

Can a hike be swapped?

Yes, for another of our outings, depending on the weather and how your legs feel.

What is the free day for?

Resting or, if an earlier day was blown out, making up that hike.

Can the order of the days change?

Yes. We arrange it around the forecast: if a day looks very windy, we move the big hike to the best day.

What if I travel alone?

You can: the room is yours and you hike with the group. The price is in the table, under "Travelling alone".

Are the hikes in a group?

Yes, in small groups of up to 8 with a mountain guide. If you would rather have a guide just for you, we can do that too.

How fit do I need to be?

Able to walk 6 to 8 hours in a day, with climbs. No mountain experience needed. If in doubt, write to us and we will look at it.

Which hotel will I stay at?

A hotel of the package’s category, in town, with breakfast. We confirm which one when you book, depending on availability for your dates.

How do I pay?

A deposit to confirm and the rest before the trip, in dollars or pesos. We send you the details on WhatsApp.
