These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Fitz Roy Expediciones. By confirming a reservation, guests agree to these conditions together with our Cancellation & Booking Policy.
Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.
Your reservation is confirmed once availability has been checked, the required payment has been received and Fitz Roy Expediciones has sent you written confirmation.
The person making a group booking is responsible for sharing this information with all participants.
The final price, included services and payment schedule will be clearly stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.
Prices may be shown in US dollars or Argentine pesos. Any bank or currency-conversion costs will be communicated when applicable.
Services not specifically listed as included—such as flights, personal equipment, travel insurance or personal expenses—are not part of the booking.
Patagonian weather and mountain conditions can change quickly. For this reason, published itineraries, distances and durations should be considered estimates.
Routes, schedules or objectives may be adjusted because of weather, trail conditions, park restrictions, group progress or safety considerations.
Reaching a particular summit, lagoon, viewpoint or mountain pass cannot be guaranteed. Whenever the original itinerary is not possible, we will make every reasonable effort to offer the best available alternative.
Our guides are responsible for the safety of the group and have the final decision regarding routes, schedules and whether an activity can safely continue.
A guide may change the itinerary, turn the group around or end an activity if weather, terrain, equipment, health or any other circumstance makes continuing unsafe.
All participants must follow the guide’s instructions throughout the activity.
Guests are responsible for choosing an activity suited to their health, fitness and previous experience.
Please inform us before departure of any illness, injury, allergy, medication or medical condition that could affect your participation. This allows our team to evaluate the activity properly and provide the safest possible experience.
Fitz Roy Expediciones may recommend a different activity or request medical authorisation when necessary.
Participants must bring the clothing, footwear and equipment indicated for their excursion.
Suitable trekking footwear, warm layers and waterproof clothing are essential for mountain activities in Patagonia. Additional technical equipment may be required for some itineraries.
If a guest arrives without the necessary equipment, the guide may decide that they cannot participate safely. In this situation, the conditions established in our Cancellation & Booking Policy will apply.
Guests are expected to:
Participants must not leave the group or designated route without informing the guide.
We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance that covers outdoor activities, medical treatment, trip cancellation and emergency evacuation.
Medical assistance and rescue services can be limited or delayed in remote mountain areas. Guests should confirm that their insurance covers the specific activity they have booked.
Guest cancellations, date changes, weather-related modifications, no-shows and refunds are governed by our separate Cancellation & Booking Policy.
Some services provided by accommodation, transport or navigation companies may also be subject to the conditions of those providers.
Guests are responsible for their personal equipment, documents, money and other belongings during the activity.
We recommend leaving unnecessary valuables at the accommodation whenever possible.
We may take photographs during an activity, but identifiable images will only be used for promotional purposes with the guest’s permission.
Refusing permission will not affect your booking or participation.
Information provided during the booking process will only be used to organise the reservation, communicate with guests, manage payments and support safety during the activity.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Argentine law. Nothing in these conditions limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
